Bryce Walter started as a small business owner and was doing just fine, “I was making six figures,” recalls Bryce. Why would anyone leave that sort of gig behind? For Bryce, it was a simple equation. Time with family equaled happiness and that just wasn’t happening. So, in a bold move, he left it behind to do other jobs, but still, it didn’t cut it for him. After the pandemic and losing money on a new venture, he realized that his future was staring him in the face.

His good friend Josh had studied cooking and perfecting brisket recipes from some of the best in Texas. Why should that skill go to waste? If they could combine his business acumen with Josh’s culinary prowess, they would be able to make money, have fun and ultimately, Bryce could make it a family affair.

So, a John Deere Tractor turned smoker was purchased and Farm Boys Barbecue was born. In the short six weeks they have been in business, they take the Texas style barbecue in their trailer and go wherever the crowds cry for great smoked meat.
