We’re a little star-struck this morning as we announce a new host has joined IowaPodcast.com to cover Iowa’s fast-moving agriculture space. Local news personality, David Geiger will be taking the helm of The Iowa Ag Podcast!
Geiger began reporting and hosting for a small local TV farm show called The Agribusiness Report right after graduating from Iowa State University. It soon expanded to three stations covering 70% of the state of Iowa. After nearly a decade of producing the program, he was hired by The Big Show at WHO Radio to produce and host.
After leaving radio at the end of 2024, he has been a frequent agriculture media personality on many local news programs and is an active freelance writer and producer.
Geiger guest hosted a few Saturday specials on The Iowa Podcast with Brian Waddingham, executive director of the Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers and Iowa Lieutenant Governor Chris Cournoyer.
We’re thrilled he decided to become a permanent fixture on IowaPodcast.com alongside our other shows like The Iowa Manufacturing Podcast, Iowa Tech Podcast, and The Iowa Podcast.
